SuFu's Product Carbon Footprint service offers a comprehensive understanding of the lifecycle of your products and helps you identify areas for reducing your carbon emissions.
We use updated methodologies and calculation tools in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol to calculate the carbon emissions associated with the product's lifecycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life disposal. We can help you set specific reduction strategies and establish robust emission reduction targets.
Process
Our process includes mapping your business's supply chain, collecting data, and calculating your product emissions using an activity-based approach.
You will be responsible for adapting the climate footprint and emission map to your graphics, generating a QR code of the emission map (optional) and inserting the climate footprint and the emission map (or QR code) onto your product and/or website.
Output
The output for each product includes:
An Impact Report with the climate footprint assessment results, identification of emission hotspots, presentation of the methodology, and possible suggestions for emission reduction.
A Calculation Sheet containing details about the emission calculations.
An Emission Calculation Certificate, signed by SuFu displaying your product's emissions.
Your product’s Climate Footprint, composed of an image or logo, a number representing the product emissions in kg of CO2 equivalent and a QR code (optional) which sends you to an online page displaying a detailed map of your product supply chain emissions.
